ViewStats - YouTube video & channel analytics
  1. MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) co-founded ViewStats, a new analytics platform available in beta, similar to Social Blade, using the YouTube API to provide detailed channel statistics.
  2. Known for his meticulous video-making approach, MrBeast’s recent A/B testing on video thumbnails highlights the importance of specific metrics, potentially influencing ViewStats’ feature selection.
  3. Co-founded with Chucky Appleby, a collaborator, ViewStats aims to stand out with star power, leveraging MrBeast’s influence in the YouTube creator community.
  4. ViewStats offers basic information such as subscriber numbers, estimated ad revenue, video views, and trends over time, with plans to expand to include thumbnail analytics and available as a Chrome extension.
  5. While the platform’s monetization strategy remains undisclosed, it operates separately from MrBeast, LLC, with both MrBeast and Appleby funding the endeavor using personal resources.
