Paper Boat’s FY23 Loss Surges 71% To Rs 90 Cr, Revenue Crosses Rs 500 Crore Mark

  1. Paper Boat, known for its fruit-based drinks in Indian flavors and healthy snacks, experienced a significant surge in revenue. Revenue from operations escalated by 56%, reaching INR 504 crore in FY23, compared to INR 324 crore in FY22.
  2. Despite the rise in revenue, Paper Boat witnessed a substantial increase in total expenses. The expenses surged to INR 599.1 crore in FY23 from INR 378.1 crore in the preceding fiscal year.
  3. Hector Beverages, the parent company of Paper Boat, encountered a considerable increase in net losses. The net loss expanded by 71% to INR 90.6 crore in FY23 compared to INR 53 crore in FY22, primarily due to escalated cash burn.
