  1. Reliance Retail’s new initiative under the Fashion World by Trends brand will introduce value apparel outlets in tier 2, 3, and lower towns, targeting rural and small-town markets via franchise model expansion.
  2. Plan includes establishing 500+ stores, directly competing with rural-focused chains like V-Mart Retail, marking Reliance’s first dedicated format for smaller markets and a broader reach into rural areas.
  3. Already launched five Fashion World by Trends stores in locations such as Siliguri, Dhule, and Aurangabad, spanning around 5,000 square feet, with larger formats ranging from 8,000 to 24,000 sq ft.
  4. Reliance Retail, with 4,000+ stores across various brands, aims to expand its B2B reach in the branded apparel segment, potentially transforming existing retailers into Fashion World by Trends stores and supplying through B2B channels.
