  1. The Ministry of Rural Development signed a memorandum of understanding with Reliance Retail’s JioMart to expand market access for products of self-help groups (SHGs) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
  2. Charanjit Singh, Additional Secretary of Rural Livelihoods, emphasized that this partnership would allow SHGs to become sellers on the e-commerce platform, enabling them to reach a wider consumer base.
  3. The collaboration aims to boost the income of SHG members (SHG Didis) by leveraging the platform and supporting their growth in online business.
