Swiggy launches Pocket Hero feature to offer extra discounts on food delivery

  1. Swiggy launched “Pocket Hero,” a feature offering up to 60% discounts and extra cashback on food orders from select restaurants, currently in the pilot phase in Delhi.
  2. The initiative aims to cater to price-conscious users by providing discounts and free delivery from partner restaurants, aiming to make food delivery more accessible.
  3. Swiggy has been consistently introducing new features, including Maxx for quick utility goods, Handpicked for premium grocery delivery, and InsanelyGood for morning grocery delivery, among others.
  4. Prosus, one of Swiggy’s significant backers, reported a 17% growth in the startup’s food delivery business, recording a gross merchandise value of $1.43 billion in the first half of the year, driven by increased users and order values.
