  1. Zerodha, led by Nithin and Nikhil Kamath, experienced a significant 37% increase in net profit, reaching INR 2,908.9 Cr in the financial year 2022-23. This growth was attributed to the company’s ongoing robust performance.
  2. The startup witnessed a parallel surge in operating revenue, which also increased by 37% to INR 6,832.8 Cr during the same fiscal year. This indicates substantial growth in its core operational activities.
  3. Zerodha allocated a substantial amount of INR 235.8 Cr towards Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) expenses in FY23, a considerable rise from INR 77.5 Cr spent in the previous fiscal year (FY22). This emphasizes the company’s commitment to incentivizing and retaining talent through stock ownership.
