Zupee’s revenue zooms 2x to Rs 832 Cr in FY23, losses down by 73%

  1. Zupee, a Gurugram-based gaming company, witnessed a remarkable 2.05x surge in revenue, reaching Rs 832 crore in FY23.
  2. The company efficiently reduced its losses by over 73%, from Rs 130 crore in FY22 to Rs 36 crore in FY23.
  3. Advertising and promotion costs, accounting for 52% of total expenses, surged by 2.65x to Rs 468 crore in FY23, while cashback to users increased by 14.5% to Rs 235 crore.
  4. Zupee significantly improved its financial ratios, spending Rs 1.08 to earn a rupee in FY23, enhancing its ROCE from -21% to -6%, and boosting the EBITDA margin from -31% to -3%.
  5. The four-year-old firm has raised $121 million across funding rounds and was valued at $600 million in its last fundraise
