Quick home services startup Snabbit has crossed 115,000 fulfilled jobs in a single day, marking a major milestone in its rapid expansion across India’s on-demand household services market. Alongside the record operational scale, the company reported a sharp improvement in unit economics during the first quarter of FY27, with its cash burn per completed job falling below ₹250, down by more than ₹100 quarter-on-quarter. The announcement highlights Snabbit’s focus on balancing high growth with improving operational efficiency as competition intensifies in the emerging quick home services segment.

The company said it completed around 4 million jobs in its core househelp category during Q1 FY27, while its consolidated Net Order Value (NOV)—after accounting for customer discounts—crossed ₹130. Founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal attributed the improvement to higher order density, better fulfilment efficiency, and stronger performance in mature neighbourhood clusters, rather than aggressive discounting.

Burn Per Job Falls Below ₹250

One of the company’s biggest achievements during the quarter was the improvement in unit economics.

According to Snabbit:

  • Burn per job declined by over ₹100 compared with the previous quarter.
  • Cash burn per completed job is now below ₹250.
  • Consolidated Net Order Value (NOV) exceeded ₹130, even after customer discounts.

The company emphasized that its growth has not been driven primarily by deep discounting, but by improving operational efficiency and increasing service density in existing markets.

Density Strategy Drives Efficiency

Rather than expanding rapidly into numerous new markets, Snabbit said it continues to prioritize depth over breadth.

The company is focusing on:

  • Increasing order density within existing neighbourhoods.
  • Improving fulfilment efficiency.
  • Enhancing customer retention.
  • Expanding service availability in mature residential communities.

According to CEO Aayush Agarwal:

  • Mature micromarkets now complete more than 2,500 jobs per day.
  • Several residential communities individually generate over 500 daily jobs.
  • The company expects consolidated NOV to improve by another 15–20% over the coming months.

Expansion Beyond Househelp Services

While household assistance remains its largest category, Snabbit is also seeing early traction in newer service offerings.

Emerging categories include:

  • Home Cooks.
  • Salon at Home.

These additions are intended to increase customer engagement while creating more earning opportunities for workers already on the platform.

Competition Intensifies in Quick Home Services

Snabbit’s announcement comes as competition accelerates in India’s quick home services market.

Recently:

  • Urban Company’s InstaHelp also crossed 100,000 delivered orders in a single day.
  • According to industry reports, InstaHelp completed around 1.9 million orders in July, compared with Snabbit’s 1.85 million, while Pronto crossed 1.25 million bookings.

The rapid growth of these platforms reflects increasing consumer demand for on-demand household services such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, cooking assistance, and other recurring home tasks.

Looking Ahead

Snabbit’s latest operational milestone demonstrates the rapid evolution of India’s quick home services market. Crossing 115,000 daily fulfilled jobs while reducing cash burn per order to below ₹250 suggests the company is beginning to improve unit economics even as it scales. By focusing on neighbourhood density, operational efficiency, and expanding into adjacent home service categories, Snabbit is seeking to build a sustainable business rather than relying solely on promotional pricing.

Looking ahead, competition is expected to remain intense as rivals such as Urban Company’s InstaHelp and Pronto continue expanding aggressively. Snabbit’s ability to further improve profitability, increase Net Order Value, and maintain service quality while scaling beyond its current 10-city footprint will be key factors in determining whether it can establish long-term leadership in India’s fast-growing quick home services industry.
