Lapaas Voice (lapaasvoice.com) is a business and technology news publication covering companies, startups and funding, AI and technology, markets and IPOs, fintech and banking, and economic policy. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few limited ways:

  • Analytics. We use Google Site Kit (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe and suppression requests immediately.
  • Telegram channel. If you join our Telegram channel, your interaction with it is governed by Telegram’s own privacy policy; we only see aggregate channel membership, not your personal Telegram account details.
  • Comments. When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
  • Cookies. We use cookies for basic site functionality (caching, session handling) and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising as described above.

How we use your information

We use the information above to operate and improve the site, deliver the newsletter to subscribers who requested it, moderate comments, and — through our advertising and analytics partners — to serve relevant ads and measure site performance. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation. Newsletter subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or ask that we erase it, subject to any legal obligation we may have to retain records instead. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
