ideaForge holds DGCA certification to run its own 5-day Remote Pilot Certificate (Small Class) training program, building certified-pilot capacity among customers and the wider market across defence, agriculture, mining, urban planning and disaster management.

ideaForge Technology Ltd. has secured an order from the Ministry of Defence worth approximately ₹137 crores for the supply of Mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and accessories.

ideaForge has been awarded a five-year cooperative procurement contract by the Purchasing Cooperative of America (PCA) for the supply of drones for law enforcement and emergency response applications.

ideaForge signed an MoU with Japan's Digital Media Professionals to co-develop next-gen AI drones: ideaForge integrates DMP's Di1 edge-AI chip into its VTOL airframes, while DMP acts as ideaForge's go-to-market partner in Japan, handling demos, distribution, training and after-sales support.

ideaForge and L&T signed an MoU to jointly develop and market unmanned aerial systems for defence and security, combining ideaForge's UAV manufacturing base with L&T's defence-systems and global-market reach.

ideaForge and India's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) signed an MoU to integrate ideaForge's FLYGHT DaaS platform with C-DAC's Emergency Response Support System (Dial 112), and to jointly evaluate C-DAC's indigenous VEGA processor for ideaForge's UAV platforms.

A majority of its revenue was from defence: Close to 69 percent in FY23.

Cost of materials consumed — the components and hardware that go into building UAVs — was ideaForge's single largest expense line in Q3 FY26, at ₹242.09 crore.

Employee benefits expense — salaries and personnel costs across engineering, manufacturing and operations — was ₹149.39 crore in Q3 FY26.

Other operating expenses (manufacturing overheads, admin and sales costs) totaled ₹164.77 crore in Q3 FY26, alongside ₹109.42 crore of depreciation and amortization.

ideaForge's CEO Ankit Mehta said R&D spend was 22% of the company's revenue in FY24, with plans to push R&D spending higher the following fiscal year.
